2010 Toys for Tots Drive

Members, Credit Union Staff and the Credit Union Board of Directors donated toys to help make the 2010 Toys for Tots drive a success even during these tough economic times. Teamsters Local 25 in association with the Marine Corps toy collection for needy families. Showing off some of the toys are credit union staff, Jack Colamaria, Carol McNelley, Kellie Bevis, Joel Flores, Fred Cocchiara, & Tricia Joyce.

Local 25 Retiree Breakfast Meeting

Credit Union staff opened accounts and spoke to retirees about new Reverse Mortgages available thru the credit union. Ed Barrett from Your Home for Life Reverse Mortgages, Carol McNelley, Joe Conti, Retiree Chapter President and Credit Union Board Member and Jack Colamaria.

Ed Barrett spoke to the 250 retirees about the regulations and benefits of Reverse Mortgages. The crowd asked many questions and learned a lot during the breakfast meeting.

Stop & Shop Freetown Distribution Center Membership Drive

Credit Union staff were 1 of 32 organizations who had a display at a Stop & Shop Health Fair in May. 15 Stop & Shop employees signed up to be Credit Union members. This location is the largest in New England and staffs 900 warehouse workers, 300 drivers, and 100 mechanics.

Credit Union Member Drive

Credit Union Staff signed up members of Teamsters Local 251, Providence, RI at their April monthly meeting. After their meeting members were served hot dogs and lemonade.

Ritchie E. Reardon, Credit Union President spoke to Local 251 membership, about the many new services and features the Credit Union has developed. Appearing on stage are also Kevin Reddy, Teamsters Local 251 President/ Business Agent and Joseph J. Bairos, Teamsters Local 251 Secretary-Treasurer / Principal Executive Officer and Credit Union Supervisory Committee Member.

Teamsters Local 251 members who joined the Credit Union at the event were entered into a raffle for a TomTom One GPS unit.

Ritchie E. Reardon, Credit Union President and Joseph J. Bairos, Teamsters Local 251 Secretary-Treasurer / Principal Executive Officer and Credit Union Supervisory Committee Member pulled the winning raffle ticket. The winner Michael Sprague from UPS was not available for a photo.

Credit Union staff support Autism

The Credit Union staff ran a 50/50 raffle with the proceeds to help support Teamsters Local 25's Gala for Autism March 28th, 2009.

Murphy, Credit Union Board Chairman/ Teamsters Local 25 Vice President/ Business Agent pulled the winning ticket at the Autism Gala. The winner James Welby, from Glancy was not available for a photo.

 

Credit Union staff have sold tickets in their branch lobby and at Teamster Local 25's February and March Meeting.

Charlene Deveney & Kellie Bevis sold $1,000 worth of chances at the March Local 25 meetings.

Credit Union employees joined other Teamster Local 25 members October 19th to raise funds and awareness about Autism.

Sean M. O'Brien, Credit Union 1st Vice Chairman/ Teamsters Local 25 President/ Principal Officer spoke to the walkers about how over the last year the efforts of Local 25 has raised over $125,000 for this great cause.

Jack Colamaria, Credit Union Coo, (far right) with the Children's Hospital patient partners at the 2008 Boston Marathon. This year 12 credit unions had a employee run the marathon and were matched with a patient partner. The NETFCU helps raise funds for Children's Hospital year round in many ways.

Ritchie E. Reardon, Credit Union President spoke to the retirees of Local 25, many who were founding members, about the many new services and features the Credit Union has developed. Ritchie spoke about Reverse Mortgages, an issue many retirees have inquired about, due to today's housing market. He also invited our members to drop in and see the new area created at the Credit Union. We will teach members how to sign up and pay bills online.
