2008 Toys for Tots Drive

Members, Credit Union Staff and the Credit Union Board of Directors donated toys to help make the 2008 Toys for Tots drive a success. Teamsters Local 25 in association with the Marine Corps toy collection for needy families. Showing off some of the toys are credit union staff, Jack Colamaria, Fred Cocchiara, Charlene Deveney, Karen Salvato, Joel Flores, Carol McNelley, Kellie Bevis & Ritchie Reardon.

2008 Boston Autism Walk

Credit Union employees joined other Teamster Local 25 members October 19th to raise funds and awareness about Autism.

Sean M. O'Brien, Credit Union 1st Vice Chairman/ Teamsters Local 25 President/ Principal Officer spoke to the walkers about how over the last year the efforts of Local 25 has raised over $125,000 for this great cause.

Credit Union Staff signed up members of Teamsters Local 633, Manchester, NH at their October monthly meeting. After their meeting members were served hotdogs and lemonade. Carol McNelley, Credit Union Member Service Representative, signs up 2 new members.

Ritchie Reardon, Credit Union President/CEO and David Laughton, Teamsters Local 633 Secretary- Treasurer and Principal Officer pull the winning ticket for a pair of Pats Tickets. New and existing Credit Union members entered for a chance to see the Pats play the Bronco's on Monday Night Football in Foxboro, MA. The winners were Amy Marsden and Michael Rybczyk both employees of UPS.

Stop & Shop Freetown Distribution Center Membership Drive

Credit Union staff were 1 of 30 organizations who had a display at a Stop & Shop Health Fair in June. 25 Stop & Shop employees signed up to be Credit Union members. This location is the largest in New England and staffs 900 warehouse workers, 300 drivers, and 100 mechanics. Ritchie E. Reardon, Credit Union President spoke to the retirees, many who were founding members, about the many new services and features the Credit Union has developed. Ritchie spoke about Reverse Mortgages, an issue many retirees have inquired about, due to today's housing market. He also invited our members to drop in and see the new area created at the Credit Union. We will teach members how to sign up and pay bills online.

Over 250 retirees attended this breakfast get together. Joe Conti fielded questions from the crowd.

50/50 Winners Drawn

This holiday season the New England Teamsters Federal Credit Union ran a 50/50 drawing with 2 member winners and Children's Hospital Boston splitting the pot of $770.00. Each member winner will receive $192.50 and Children's Hospital Boston will receive $350.00.
